Server move to Fort Myers

It looks like everything is working after the server move this weekend. I can no longer host it in my apartment, because of the lack of a static IP address with my DSL. So, it made the trip to Fort Myers and is connected via Road Runner. I got one webcam up, and it is in my dad's office (my old room). At least, I can now watch my old Power Mac, gosh, I wish I had a new Mac.

Goliath Online!

My stupid computer named Goliath - slain by Memory Trolls, is once again alive, thanks to some un-godly expensive ram from CompUSA. At this point, I will never buy an AMD based computer EVER again. Enough with this computer stuff - As soon as I get soon food to stay in my stomach (Quarterdeck is off my fine dining list for a month) I am off to the beach - looking to be the best day yet, this Summer.... Update.... Set another personal best on the bike, time to get pedals and shoes for it... The beach was a little hazy, but plenty of sun to keep my tan up!

Nazgul joins Goliath and Diablo

Finished building the new all purpose server "Nazgul" (Athlon 550). If you have seen Lord of the Rings - Fellowship at the movies, you will remember the loud screeching sounds from the Nazgul, well, I brought the old SCSI drives out of retirement...
In any case, this is more one heat source to keep my insulation free apartment warm this Winter. If you were wondering, Diablo is my Linux web server, and Goliath is my Windows workstation.

Well, the laptop finally arrived, after waiting a month for Dell to build it. It is an Inpsiron 8100:,P3 1.1 GHz cpu with half a gig of ram. Definitely worth the wait, this thing cranks. More pics and info to come...
